Privacy Policy

What this site does and does not do with your information.

Effective date: November 3, 2026.

The short version

Coloring Lab is a static website. It has no accounts, no comment forms and no sign-up. The colors you choose in our tools are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.

Information we collect

Information you send us. If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical data when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. This is used to run and secure the site.

Cookies and local storage. At the time of this policy, the site does not set cookies of its own and does not store data in your browser.

How the tools work

The Palette Builder and Color Compare tools run in your browser. When you change a color, the page address updates with the color codes so you can copy and share the link. Anyone who opens that link sees the same colors. Do not put anything private in a shared link; it contains only color codes.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use analytics or advertising services. If we add them, such as an advertising network or an analytics tool, we will update this policy before doing so. That update would describe the vendors, the cookies they use, and how you can opt out. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. This paragraph applies only if and when such services are active on the site.

External links

Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Children

This site is general-audience educational content and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information we hold about you (usually just emails you sent), ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us any question about this policy. Residents of some US states have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will respond to valid requests. Email us at [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
